NEXT MEETING (CORRECTION)

Saturday, November 22/3:00p.m.-5:00p.m.

All - I had the Girls Scouts of Central Indiana address listed as the meeting place instead of the actual meeting place. My mistake...below is the correct information:

Creative Composing Try-It (Girl Scout Brownies, Girl Scout Daisies)
Visit the American galleries and go on a scavenger hunt to find particular works. Brownie Girl Scouts will be able to describe what they see happening in the pictures. These descriptions will be incorporated into poetry in the Art Labs and used to compose a painting. In this Try-it, Girl Scout Brownies will complete half of their requirements for the Creative Composing Try-It and patches will be sent home with each Girl Scout Brownie participant.

This program will be located in the Multi Purpose Room. Cost: $7.00 per girl/paid by the troop

Location: Indianapolis Museum of Art Labs, 4000 Michigan Rd, Indianapolis

DECEMBER ACTIVITIES

Saturday, December 6 (Activity) - Polar Bear Express
730P - 930P - Fishers Indiana Train Station (Located at the corner of 116th Street & Municipal Drive. The location is a half-mile west of Exit 5 off of I-69 and is easily recognizable by the railroad tracks that cross 116th Street)

Please arrive 15 minutes early to be certain that you can find a parking place and get into the station on time. The train has NO RESTROOMS, so please visit the restrooms in the train station prior to boarding the train. The program begins as a story telling session with everyone seated on the carpet, so please dress accordingly. Additionally, the train cars have only minimal heat. Whatever apparel is needed when you were outside on your way to the show will probably also be needed on the train.

**Please bring shoe box gifts to Julie on December 6 so she can get them together for distribution to Sheltering Wings. (Please see below for details - November activities)

Tuesday, December 9 (Meeting) - HOLIDAY PARTY
7P - 8P - Sycamore Elementary

We will be having Pizza, Cookies and Drinks. Please have the girls bring a $10 wrapped gift. We will not draw names, we will play pass the gift until the music stops.

We will also be distributing patches and fall product awards.
